Mind The Gap

After what seems like month's of Joshua having loose teeth his first baby tooth fell out at School yesterday. Surprisingly it was not his front incisor which was the very first one tow come loose and could also fall out any day now. Instead it was one of his lower lateral incisors that came out first. So he now likes being referred to as "Gappie" which is what all the school kids seem to call each other if you lose a tooth. For me it meant a quick google search late yesterday to find a tooth fairy certificate and letter template which I could write out and prepare to slip under his pillow during the night. We made a big thing of Brandon's first tooth falling out and gave him five £1 coins (from the tooth fairy). Joshua clearly has a good memory and made it very clear the tooth fairy was also going to give him a fiver. Since you have to treat them fairly then I had no choice, but rest assured that each tooth from now on will only be £1-£2 max!

Joshua proudly shows his new smile with his gap.

And here he is holding his first baby tooth to come out.

All smiles in the morning as he find a letter, a certificate and £5 from the tooth fairy.
So for one day only people could legitimately call me a big hairy fairy as 12:15am this morning I was sneaking into Joshua's bedroom pretending to be a tooth fairy.
