Disneyland Paris 2019 Day 4

Day 4 in Disneyland Paris and we had pretty much done most of the attractions. So we spent the day doing the odd bits that we had missed out, going back on some of our favourites and then in the afternoon we went back in to the Studios to watch the stunt show again. To our amazement the afternoon stunt show was even better than the 11am one which we watched earlier in the week.

But before we did all of that we split up to make the most of the early bird hour and a half. Tina took Holly over to the Princess Pavilion for a meet and greet with the Disney Princesses and me and the boys went over to the Studios to hit some of the rides. Holly still had to queue for nearly 90 minutes at the Princess Pavilion despite the queue time showing as about 45 mins. I think it was worth it though as she got to meet Snow White and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

To finish off our 4th day we had another extortionately priced dinner in Planet Hollywood and then went back to Davy Crockett to play some mini golf, arcades, play in the park and have a few drinks in the saloon bar. The food in Planet Hollywood was pretty good and me and Joshua ordered this sort of deconstructed lasagna which was just the best lasagna I have ever tasted.

After 4 days I finally managed to get a picture of the Disneyland entrance as you drive up.

Some lovely stained glass windows in the Princess Pavilion.

Holly with Snow Whites glass shoe.

Holly with the Disney Genie lamp.

Holly with a Princess crown.

Not sure what this is, I assume it is "mirror, mirror on the wall.....".

Holly with a nice castle stained glass window.

Again showing my ignorance of Disney Princesses, is this Rapunzel's rose?

Snow Whites apple.

After all that queueing Holly only got to meet Snow White.

One Princess meets another Princess.

The look on Holly's face tells you how much she enjoyed the experience.

My little Princess.

I would love to know what they were talking about?

Farewell cuddles before it is time to leave.

And a quick picture with Snow White, Holly and Tina.

I am sure I took a similar photo to this 6 or 7 years ago when the boys were about 3 to 4 years old.

The boys with a Toy Soldier Jeep.

Attention to detail with the model plane.

Brandon's favourite ride (NOT!).

Another Studio Tour around the special effects.

Love the heat you feel from the fire.

The boys enjoying the special effects.

And then cooling down with the flood.

A submersible movie prop.

More movie cars.

And more movie cars.

And then the sleeping dinosaur/dragon breaths his fire.

This is another picture that I duplicated from last time we were in Paris 6 or 7 years ago.

Back on to the Star Tours 4D experience.

Holly thought C3P0 was very funny.

My Princess with her future palace.

A little door fit for children.

Holly exploring the maze.

Can we find our way through the maze.

You might notice from the pictures it was sunny today so Josh decided to cool off putting his head in a water fountain,

Then all 3 of them started splashing each other.

We made it to the middle of the maze, now that's a flower arrangement.

Anyone for a game of cards.

Holly wanted pictures with everything.

We made it to the Mad Hatter castle thing, but Holly was disappointed as it looked like there was a slide at the back.

You can't get enough picture of the beautiful Princess Palace.

View looking down on the maze.

Nice sunny views across Disneyland.

Joshua couldn't budge King Arthur's sword.

But that didn't stop Holly from trying.

.....and failing like everyone else.

In the afternoon we went back to watch the stunt show again. "I am speed.....".

A well timed picture by me or a car jump.

And a not so well timed jump as this car hits the landing.

The stunt man set himself on fire by sliding his bike through a wall of fire.

Another cracking photo of a car jumping between two lorry's.

And then nose diving in to an air bag.

I didn't quite nail the final stunt picture this time.

One of Metallica's guitars on show at the Aerosmith coaster.

Movie prop from Lethal Weapon in Planet Hollywood.

Boxer Josh wearing his new Disney fleece meets Rocky Balboa.

More movie memorabilia.

"I'll be back!" - not to Disneyland Paris with how much this week has cost me!!!

Impressive ceiling in Planet Hollywood.

Naming the movie stars and watching movie trailers whilst eating our dinner.

Brandon ordered an absolutely giant pizza!

Me and Josh hit the jackpot with this deconstructed lasagna.

Holly had a simple cheese burger, but she loved the garlic mash.

Dinner over and another day nearly finished.

Back to Davy Crockett for some crazy golf.

Brandon wearing his new Disney Nightmare Before Christmas fleece.

Josh and Bee having a typhoon experience in the arcades whilst Holly played in the park and I enjoyed a well earned Guinness.

They seem to be having fun.
