Disneyland Paris 2019 Day 5

It seems like only yesterday we had arrived in Disneyland Paris and yet here we are waking up to our final day. It may have only been a 5 day holiday, but it has been full on and very exhausting. To be honest I feel like I need another holiday to recover!!!!

By day 5 we had pretty much covered everything that Disney has to offer and therefore we decided that each of us would pick our 3 favourite things and then we would do them before making our way back home mid afternoon. On the way home the kids were absolute stars again and we managed to go from Paris to Calais without a single stop. In fact Holly slept pretty much all of the way and everyone else (except me as I was driving) also caught 40 winks at one point during the journey. Our train across the channel was delayed an hour or so, but we were home by 10pm and then had the weekend to recover from a magical week.

Another early start to hit the parks for 8.30 am as we say farewell to our lodge.

Our last day at Disneyland.

As usual I was taking tonnes of pictures.

Even took a picture of the big Mickey Mouse clock on the hotel entrance.

The 3 kiddies in the pavilion.

Attention to detail with the Disney themed gardens.

Another picture in front of the Princess Castle.

We had been here 5 days and Holly did not gone on Orbitron as it always seems to have ridiculous queues for such a simple ride. But on our final day the queue was only 5-10 minutes, so me and her went on it twice.

The big hot air balloon sticking out of the cinema building.

Me and H on Orbitron.

Well at least someone likes spinning around high in the air.

Whilst me and H were on this, Brandon went on Hyperspace Mountain 4 times on the trot.

I managed to get pictures of all the old classic cars that take visitors up and down the main street in Disney.

I seem to recall going in this one last time we were here with the boys, today the kids wanted to go on the old Police car though.

To fill the time on the last day we seeked out the Aladdin Passage which seems very tucked away.

The magic lamp.

Aladdin himself.

This is me when I lose a WOD at Crossfit!
Aladdin and the Princess on the magic carpet.

Holly at the end of Aladdin's Passage,

We managed to meet a grumpy Jafar who was very much in character and scared Holly, but she still managed to get his autograph in her book.

Holly and Brandon messing around on a canon.

On the last day Holly was treated to a plastic Princess carriage which was filled with popcorn.

Very overpriced at €25!!!! But I know Holly will use the carriage back at home with her dolls.
That'a a lot of popcorn to eat. Luckily Holly has two bigger brothers to help.

A selection of merchandise that Holly has accumulated during this trip.

Finally we got our ride back down the main street in the vintage Police car.

All aboard.

Brandon boarding the Police car.

And then farewell to Disney as we head off towards the exit. Disney - it has been good.

Joshua helping out little Princess out of the Police car.

But as we excited from Disney we couldn't resist quickly nipping back in to the studios so that Tina could experience the Aerosmith coaster (which she hated!).
