Spain - Costa Dorada Day 4

As promised day 4 had some better pictures from the Aquasplash Park and dolphinarium. Starting with a little water fight with the boys testing out their new water squirters.

This was the view in from the highest point in the infant play area of the water park. The turtle head spits water down the big wide blue slide and then there was a meandering pink and yellow slide going off each side.

Joshua testing out the yellow one. This was pretty naff actually and both boys had to "bum shuffle" down this one as it just didnt have enough angle to it to get any speed going.

Now the pink one was a different story all together and both boys thoroughly enjoyed this one. I really wouldn't like to guess just how many times they must have gone up and down this.

This is a reverse view from the wide blue water slide looking back up at the turtle head and you can see the start of the pink and yellow slides shooting off sideways.

Josh about to splash into the plunge pool.

And Brandon about to reach the bottom of the fastest pink slide.

The naff yellow slide. Brandon bum shuffling down and Joshie waiting to catch him at the bottom.

This was one of the smaller slides which branched off of a castle type structure in the kids main play pool.

And this is Brandon about to go down a rock slide which has a waterfall of water to pass through before making your decent.

He passes through the waterfall, down the slide and into the open arms of Mummy.

This was a very impressive water feature for the kids to play in and as you can see it literally projects water from all angles. You physically cannot go anywhere near this part of the water park without getting completely soaked. In the next series of pictures you can just about make out Joshua in most of them. Brandon was not too keen on this one as water was getting in his eyes from all angles.

When ever we were in the water park we always paid a visit to the dolphin show. If nothing else it was an opportunity to sit down for 30 mins and get out of the sun. As you can see my timing on catching the dolphins in mid air is getting very good.

Joshua was just about big enough to drive one of these hand operated paddle boats all by himself. Brandon really wanted a go but just couldn't reach the handles.

Both boys showering off under one of the large mushroom showers.

And here is dare devil Joshua all ready to launch himself down one of the adult water shoots on an inflatable ring.

After a very tiring day in the water park it was back to the hotel for a snack and some chill time before dinner and mini disco. He is Brandon just chilling on the sofa with his burger and chips snack!

At the mini disco the boys got to meet the other main character, Woody. Some nights they were fortunate enough to see both Woody and Estivee. Of course the downside to this is that I ended up having to buy them both Woody and Estivee teddies!

Day 5 to follow.
