Spain - Costa Dorada Day 7

I know you are probably all bored of beach and pool holiday snaps - but hey when you go to an area in the med and its 30 degrees, then what do you expect. I promise today is the last day though as Day 8 sees us head off to Barcelona for the Zoo and Aquarium.

But back to day 7. The day starts out preparing for some more diving (not that Joshua classes himself as a qualified PADI diver after yesterdays little excursion!).

Brandon was feeling a little tired and the 30 degree weather was not warm enough for him to venture into the water. So he chilled on the sun bed catching some rays again.

More fun  on the beach digging holes in order to play "stuck in the muck".

Then another of my special sand castles. This time an attempt to make a Lightning McQueen castle for the boys. Once the gar was finished I started to lines along side the car to simulate the road side. This gave me a great idea...........

The idea was to continue the road to make a mini trim track along the beach and then have races with the boys. What a fantastic, genius idea this was as we had an absolute blast running around the track and incorporated all sorts of turns, twists and chicanes. We even elaborated on the track and added sand hurdles to jump over and sand round-a-bouts to run around. We got some very intrigued looks from other beach uses and at one point even had a few bored Spanish kids joining in on our race track.

In the evening it was yet more mini disco and more Estivee. Not sure how much more Veo Veo and Chu Chu Ua I can stand! I need some Metallica to gain some sanity............

Another very exhausting day and both boys were completely shattered. "Shattered" is one of Joshie's new words, its really funny hearing him say "I'm shattered!". Anyway how about this for a cute picture of the boys sleeping?
