Roots Hall : Southend Utd Vs Wycombe

So little Holly has now turned 3 months old already. Where did that time go? It seems we was only leaving hospital with her yesterday and yet in a month or two's time we will be thinking about starting her on solids and getting her sleeping in her cot rather than the moses basket. She has already outgrown her 0-3 month clothes and hence we are having to start shopping for 3-6 month girls stuff now.

A very colourful picture of Holly in her play mat.

Brandon loves going head to head with Holly as her skin and hair feel so nice and soft.

Anyway this weekend I have had very little time with Holly yet again. This morning I was coaching Joshua's football whilst Tina took Brandon off to one of his friends parties with Holly. When we all got back it was a quick change and lunch before heading out to Southend for another visit to Roots Hall to watch the Shrimpers play Wycombe. So Tina stayed at home with Holly and me and the boys went footy again.

Joshua and Brandon with Elvis the Eel.

Brandon couldn't get a great view from the seats so chose to sit on Auntie Nicky's lap for most of the match.

Shrimper and Elvis entertaining the crowd.

Half time and Joshua and Brandon stretch their legs (note both wearing their Southend jackets).

Great memories for me and the boys enjoying spending quality time at a football match. I wonder if one day I will be sitting their watching one of them playing football.

Southends one and only goal came from a great corner kick.
Wycombe had a very bright orange and yellow kit, but the keepers was much worse, purple blending into pink!!! Joshua found it most amusing when I chanted "You look pretty in pink" or "Go pink panther" as he takes a goal kick.

The pink panther in goal.
The game ended a 1 : 1 draw in the end but we still all had a great time. Southend were robbed as they scored a goal in the first half which was not allowed for some reason. Lets hope Joshua gets a better result against Mornington Boys tomorrow.

Was a fab day out and I loved having cuddles with Brandon. Agree that Southend deserved to win and still do not know why the goal was disallowed!? xxx
