Britains Got Talent

OK call me a bad parent but I have been letting the boys stay up and watch Britain's Got Talent and they are completely addicted. If they can't watch it on TV then they can often be found watching it on YouTube using their IPADS! They know all of the judges names and most of the finalists from 2014. Their favourite act in 2014 is Bars and Melody and after tonight's final they were devastated that they lost, so much so that Joshua went to bed almost in tears saying that the judges got it wrong as their boys were better than Callabro.

 

Early today we caught the two boys playing in the garden and they had lined up a load of chairs to replicate the judging panel and were taking it in turns to be an act or to be a judge. Joshua was hilarious as he was trying to mimic David Walliams doing his hip and trendy rapper impression as he critiqued Bars & Melody in the auditions.

 

However after they had finished playing outside Brandon decided to get the piano and microphone out and then the next thing I know is that he tells me he needs to go and get changed into boxer shorts for a performance!!!! So he comes down stairs wearing a pair of boxer shorts and a neck tie - nothing else!!!! It took me some time to twig who he was dressing up as and what his performance was going to be, but all soon became very clear........

It all fits makes sense now as we have been showing the boys lots of Queen songs on their IPADS and Brandon has really taken to "We are the champions". He has played it over and over and knows most of the words and is even learning some of Freddie Mercury's dance moves.
