Holly's Holiday Stroller

Tina and the boys took Holly to be weighed yesterday and surprisingly she has jumped up one line on the weight curve and is now over 1 stone. In fact the little girl weighed in at 15lb 4oz. As I have mentioned previously she eats very, very well and enjoys her food more so than her milk. Even at 6 months she is starting to eat a lot of dinners that we cook for the rest of the family, such as Shepherds pie, blitzed up Sunday roast and last night she even had chilli con carne.

She is getting a lot stronger now and has learnt to push her walker in a backwards direction (not going forward yet) and she is starting to sit-up and balance on her own for short periods. In her high chair she is constantly leaning forward and having a good look around to see whats going on (that is when she hasn't got her feet up on the table or in her mouth). Also there is definitely signs of the first tooth now breaking through her little gums.

Holly's sleep pattern is pretty amazing really. At just 6 months old she is as good as going right through the night already. Worst case scenario now is that she will have a dream feed somewhere between 11 to 12 o'clock and then sleep to somewhere around 5:30 to 6:30. At which point she will happily have another feed and then go back to sleep if given the chance. On some occasions she has even done away with the dream feed and still gone right through the night. Lets hope the teething does not disrupt her sleeping too much.

Finally for today's blog we have treated Holly to a new light weight stroller. The Graco buggy that has served us so well for all 3 kids is still usable and fits her car seat etc, but for our holiday in July we needed a light weight stroller to get on/off the plane. So after much searching around Tina picked out this pink Minnie Mouse stroller! How macho am I going to look pushing this around???? Bring back the boys old Lightning McQueen stroller...........

Holly's new Minnie Mouse stroller ready for holiday this year (that's if her passport arrives in time!).

The little girl testing it out for the first time. Hard to imagine her feet will one day reach the foot rest!
