Coca Cola Lorry, Santa Visit and Base Jump FG Party

Well what an absolutely manic and full on festive Sunday we have had. It all started with Brandon having an early and very icy football match against the Forest Glade Panthers. This game was a bit of a decider as the two team have a win each and a draw against each other. Things weren't looking good when our centre back went down sick last night and was not available for the match. But the boys soldiered through and came away with a 4-2 win and to take the decider and more importantly string together their first back to back wins of the 17/18 season.

 

After football it was a quick dash over to Lakeside where we got to see the Coca Cola Xmas truck and then go and see Santa in his grotto. The Coca Cola truck was amazing and they really had it well organised with minimal queuing and plenty of photo opportunities. They were also giving away lots of free Coca Cola's which the boys absolutely loved, I think they had about 6 each in the end!!

 

Santa's grotto at Lakeside was pretty amazing with lots of interactive elements to keep the kids occupied before they got to see the big man. Joshua looked a bit concerned as it turned he was on the naughty list on the naughty/nice machine, Holly and Brandon were both on the nice list. Over the last week Joshua has decided he wants a Kindle for Xmas and asked Santa for one today, Brandon then also asked Santa for a Kindle (god knows where that has come from as its the first time he has ever mentioned a Kindle). Holly asked Santa for a ride on car.

 

After Lakeside it was a quick dash home for dinner and then out to Base Jump for the Forest Glade Xmas party. 1.5 hours later and we have 3 very red faced and very tired children.

 

A bit wet and cold but worth a visit to Lakeside to see the Coca Cola lorry.

Brandon did some amazing jumps but on one of the high ones he did a forward flip and smashed his knees into his nose causing a nose bleed.

Holly absolutely loved playing on all the trampolines. I think she will sleep well tonight.
