Holly's Build A Bear Birthday Party

2 weeks after her birthday and today was finally the day of Holly's Build A Bear birthday party. She has been getting so excited about today and couldn't wait to get back from dancing today to get dressed up for her special party. We had booked a Build A Bear party in Basildon for Holly and about 7 or 8 of her friends. Then afterwards hey all headed up to the food court for a Happy Meal.

All of the kids at the party got to pick their own bear and then make the bear and pick one item of clothing to dress them in. Whilst they took it in turns filling their bear the others all played hide-n-seek with a white rabbit which they had to hide somewhere in the store. Then once all the bears were stuffed they all had a bit of a scramble to collect some hearts to put inside their bears.

Towards the ends Holly got to lead her friends to the bell in the shop and then give it an almighty ring to let everyone know it was her birthday and that they were about to all sing happy birthday to her. Holly seemed to really enjoy her party and got some lovely presents including a new Our Generation doll, a princess play doh set and a unicorn jumper. The Our Generation doll looks like it could be her younger sister.

To start the party the kids all got to pick what bear they wanted to build.

Holly went straight in for this pink bear.

I love this picture of Holly covering her eyes as one of her friends hid the rabbit whilst playing hide-n-seek.

Holly's bear all stuffed and now she starts shopping around looking for clothes and accessories.

The hearts are sprinkled on the floor and the kids all scramble to get one for their teddy bear.

Some of Holly's friends (the ones that weren't camera shy) with their bears.

Holly ringing the shop bell to notify everyone in Eastgate that it was time to sing happy birthday to her.

Finally managed to get a picture of all the kids as they waited for their boxes to take their bears home.

Holly back at home after a long day and cuddling her new bear called Robby.

This was the new Our Generation doll that her friends bought her. Looks like her little sister.
