HollyDay

Auntie Lisa kindly looked after the kiddies for us this Monday so that me and Tina could get out and crack on with some Christmas shopping. We had quite a productive (albeit very expensive) day at Lakeside and managed to get about 95% of the shopping done.

Throughout the day the boys were at school so Lisa entertained Holly and looking at the pictures below they had loads of fun doing some arts and crafts and plaiting hair. What you can't see in the pictures is the mess of Holly painting her hands in addition to her Elsa doll and her painting.

The hair looked really nice when we got home, but unfortunately Holly didn't keep it in for long. She drives us nuts as she complains about hair in her face but then hates her hair being tied up. She was a very naughty girl last night and will be getting a naughty notice from the Elves as she got hold of a pair of scissors from the kitchen draw and cut a chunk of her hair off!!!!

Holly starting to paint her Elsa ornament that Zoe and Nick got her for her birthday.

Doing a very neat job of the blue dress and the yellow hair.

Looking very good and now on to the face details.

This is such an improvement over her previous ornament painting where she just used to slap on every colour so the whole thing ended up a browny / purple.

Some art work to colour in and paint.

Holly's lovely hand painting. I think she enjoyed this the most as it involved painting her hands!

The finished Else ornament looks amazing. A very proud girl.

And Holly even let Lisa plait her hair and it looked lovely while it lasted.

Cheeky little Holly with her hair tied back.
