Tenerife Day 12 - Sunset Walk

Day 12. Our latest morning yet with the kids not waking until almost 9.30 leaving little time for getting brekkie before the hotel restaurant shut to prepare for lunch. After brekkie we had a minor crisis as Holly fell off the sofa onto a hard tiled floor and had a huge egg size lump on her head. Luckily a cold compress and some Calpol seemed to sort it out.

As our holiday starts to draw to an end and due to last nights very late night we decided to have another lazy pool day. The boys were fighting over the jet ski despite the fact that we also had a lilo for them to play on. So to solve the problem I took Brandon out shopping and let him pick his own inflatable and he chose a red surf board.

Holly was using her ring today but also enjoyed riding the jet ski with me supporting her. She also found it funny to start jumping of it! After lunch Tina and Holly went for their routine nap whilst me and B played in the pool and Joshua was off playing with two of his friends.

After bathing the kids and getting dinner we took a nice long beach walk to watch the sunset and to take some nice sunset pictures. We also took a stroll along the beach to get our feet wet and the boys enjoyed throwing stones into the sea. Watching the sunset over one of the canary islands is pretty special.

On the way back Brandon was acting tired and selfish again wanting to buy "something" despite having got his inflatable earlier in the day. He can be such a materialistic little kid at times that it is frustrating as he has no appreciation for value or money and is never just grateful for what he has.

Only 2 days left and we are all looking forward to our own comfortable beds.

The objective this evening was to watch the sunset and get some stunning sunset pictures. My first attempt was pretty good I think.

On the week when Mo Farah did the double in the World Champs and Usuain Bolt did the Triple, it is only fitting that the pull a mobot and a lightning bolt pose.
