Tenerife Day 13 - Crazy Golf & Black Jack

Day 13. The penultimate day of our 2015 holiday so we woke the kids at 9am ready for our final day at Siam Water Park. As usual we got a taxi to get there really early and got off to a good start with 2 goes on the awesome Kinaree and 2 goes on Mokong rapids. After that the park started getting busy so we stuck to the Lost City, the Wave pool and the snake rides. At the end me and Josh had 1 final long queue for about 40 mins for Volcano whilst Tina, B and H played over by mini dragon. It was a long queue but as Volcano was our favourite ride in the park we decided it was worth the wait for one more go.

For the whole 2 weeks of our holiday we had been trying to get a good souvenir family picture at the entrance to the park and each day the picture looked terrible with one or other of us being hidden or not looking at the camera. So when we left the park today it was our final chance to look on the photo boards in hope that this mornings picture, and I am pleased to confirm it was worth the wait as finally we got a good picture showing all 5 of us..

When we got back to the hotel we had an hour in the pool before dinner. After dinner we took a walk around to Santiago so Josh and B could play mini golf. Brandon won with a very impressive total of 53 shots (including 1 hole in 1) and Joshua scored 70. The course was set in a cactus garden filled with a mosaic effect which looked really impressive. Top tip though, don't sit on a cactus like I did!!!

The boys then had a go on marathon runner arcade game which is an absolute genius idea to get kids exercising instead of playing conventional arcade machines. Joshua went first and set a new record of 277. Brandon's little legs were equally impressive and not far behind his bigger bro with a score of 229.

On the walk home we did a bit of shopping and H had fun running through the water fountains (much against Tina's wish - but it was hot and clammy and cooled her down, plus she had fun). Back at the hotel the boys unfortunately missed the Michael Jackson impersonator but B did get his picture taken with him. It was then casino night in the hotel so me and the boys stayed up playing black jack until nearly 11 whilst T and H went back for a sleep. On our way back to the room as it was our last night so as promised I let Josh have a jump in the pool even though it closed at 6.30 (he loves doing this on our last day). It has become a bit of a farewell ritual for him on the final day of holiday to jump in the pool late at night to cool off. Of course I then pushed him in a further 3 times. So all in all a really good penultimate day. I am getting to spend so much time with Holly that I think my little girl is going to really miss me come Thursday when I am back at work.

Final day in Siam Park and Tina is enjoying Kineree with Joshua.

Tina not quite as graceful as Joshua at getting off of Kinaree.

All smiles, what an awesome water ride.

Our three little King's at Siam Park.

Family picture taken in the big wave pool.

Joshua and Brandon on the waterfall rock path.

We say our farewell to the sharks that we have spent so much time watching.

Our friendly giants.

Brandon experimenting with his hair and his Tina's sun glasses.

Joshua then had his attempt with swept over hair and shades on.

As we left the park on our final visit it was as if the sea lions knew and promptly jumped up on the rocks in full display for some sunbathing.

We could watch these incredible creatures for hours.

And at last after about 6 visits to Siam we finally got a good family picture at the entrance.

Later in the evening and Joshua and Brandon have a round of crazy golf.

What crazy golf course is complete without a loop-de-loop.

Lovely setting in a cactus garden with mosaic tile surroundings.

Brandon tee's off.

In between holes I took the opportunity to take some picture of pretty flowers and cacti.

Joshua on the tee.

Brandon concentrating hard and showing good form which resulted in him winning the match.

Interesting shot of Joshua looking through a large cactus.

Easily made it through the tunnel.

Brandon's turn....

Again me trying to be clever and take s hot looking through a cactus plant.

Joshua and Brandon enjoying the crazy golf in Tenerife.

Proud moment as Brandon is first to hit a hole in one.

Being competitive, Joshua has to have a try and hits a hole in one on his second attempt.

Brandon hits one long.

Joshua climbing on a rather unusual sculpture.

Joshua sets off on his marathon runner.

New record as he scores a whopping 277.

Brandon then has a go and looks like a little hamster on a wheel.

Very respectable score of 229 for his little legs.

On the way back \holly enjoyed cooling off by running through some water fountains.

Back at the hotel and Brandon gets his picture taken with the immortal Michael Jackson.

Joshua learning how to play blackjack at the hotel casino night.

Tanned \brandon also quickly picked up how to play blackjack.
