Tenerife Day 7 - Karting

Day 7. Everyone slept well after a very late night at The Sound of Musicals. The morning was overcast snd we decided to go to Tenerife Karting which we had provisionally booked a few days earlier. The boys went on some 50hp petrol karts called Ponys and did 15 laps of the track for 10 Euros each. Their first race was pretty clean driving and they both enjoyed it. Then they wanted a second go so another 20 Euros down and they were off again. The second race was very dirty and the brotherely competitiveness came out as they were ramming each other off the road and subsequently getting told off by the marshalls.

After very enjoyable morning we headed back to the hotel for lunch which had us waiting around for sbout 30 mibs to catch a bus. The boys are both so impatient I think they are getting fed up with waiting for buses. Anyway the sun came out in the afternoon and we spent the afternoon playing in the pool. The boys were getting good at beach bat and ball and Holly was enjoying pouring water over me.

After dinner we took a lovely walk along the sea front and the shops to try and get Holly asleep  (failed). She stayed awake and then ended up watching the comedy show back at the hotel and clapping away whilst having a boogie. After the comedy show Tina snd Holly went to bed whilst me and the boys sat up playing Uno whilst listening to the live music in the pool bar.
