La Pinada, Salou, Spain 2018 Day 5 - Spa and Waterpark

We woke up on Day 5 of our holiday and it was surprisingly a little overcast and some light drizzle in the air. So instead of hitting the pool, beach or water park we decided to spend the morning in to indoor hotel spa pool. This was free to use for all inclusive and only cost us € each to buy a silly hat which was mandatory in the Spa. The hotel resort also had a very plush Aquum Spa resort, however this would have cost us over €100 for all 5 of us, so we opted for the hotel one. The spa was actually pretty amazing and had water jets to massage just about every part of your body along with various Jacuzzis, sauna's, steam rooms and a very cold plunge pool. Holly was an absolute nut case and took a real liking to jumping in the ice cold plunge pool, then quickly getting out and jumping in the warm Jacuzzi water.

Once we finished in the Spa we went to lunch and by then the clouds had cleared and the sun was back, so our afternoon we headed back over to the water park to enjoy some more fun on the slides.

Ready for a morning in the hotel spa with our silly hats on.

A quick game of bat and ball for me and B before heading off for lunch.

This was over in the pool for hotel 3 where we decided to go for lunch today.

Anything we could get Holly to eat was a bonus, but this combination????? Grape, ice cream, cucumber and chicken nugget on one spoon.
The pool at hotel 3.

Holly enjoying some time in the play after lunch.

Holly on the slide.

This is another picture I recreated from 7 years ago, however back then it was only the boys and the painting of Estivee.

Holly on the curly slide. I think she climbed up it more than she did slide down it.

In the afternoon we headed back to a fairly quiet water park for some action on the slides.

Holly and Tina about to go on the rapids.

And down they come.

And about to splashdown at the bottom.

As you can see the sun came out and the sun cream was required again for another hot afternoon in the waterpark.

Another attempt by me to beat the record across the rings in the 3m pool.

Then Brandon's turn to see what time he can get.

Joshua giving me another beating on the tray slide. I will get the better of him at least once this holiday.

The 3 kiddies under a tree waterfall.

Whilst the boys and Tina were off on some slides I took my turn to look after Holly in the kids area.

Holly enjoying the smaller slides.

One happy little girl.

More shots of Holly on water slides.

My little girl.

Getting more adventurous and laying down on slides, she even tried going down on her belly.

Search hard and in this picture somewhere you should be able to find a Holly.

Holly on the children's slides right at the back of the park by the large turtle fountain.

Gaining speed down the slide.

And faster.

Just behind Holly you can see the large turtle fountain.

Brandon about to brave a cold water soaking.

Taking it like a man. Kudos.

All 3 kiddies on a slide and playing nicely together.

A walk along the La Pinada in the evening and these are the famous mushrooms.

Before going to dinner Holly needed to catch 40 winks.

After the mini disco me and the kiddies enjoyed a few games of pool.
