Christmas Crafts

Most people usually say that Christmas is coming once they see the Coca Cola advert on TV. For us I think a real sign of Christmas is when our Christmas train track makes its way from the garage loft to the house. The boys always enjoy getting the train set out and find various ways of making bridges using their body which usually results in the train being knocked off the track multiple times. Of course it was also Holly's first time seeing the train which all seemed a bit confusing for her as the boys kept turning the lights on and off to make it dark for the train lights.

Cheeky Brandon and our Christmas train.

The boys finished school on Friday and came home with bags full of art and festive creations that they have made at school. The teachers also gave them both a present and laminated a 2014 calendar of the both with their pictures on it. Amongst that there was some rather good looking angels, Christmas hats, ginger bread men, decorative plates etc.etc.

Brandon shows a small selection of some of his festive art work.

And Joshua with his festive creations. Love the reindeer hat.
Finally for today and amusing comment from Joshua regarding Christmas. We was walking around town yesterday and he saw one of those stalls that was roasting the chestnuts. He tugged on my arm and said "Dad, why is that man cooking conkers!", How funny?
