Holly Amber Susannah is Official

Today Holly's name became was officially registered and confirmed as Holly Amber Susannah King. For Joshua and Brandon we had to register their names in Billericay, but for Holly it was a bit more convenient as we managed to get a booking in Basildon. As usual Holly was pretty unfazed by the whole experience and slept through the entire registration process.

Whilst in Basildon we also managed to pick up this lovely "Baby's 1st Christmas" sack for Santa to leave all of her presents.

However we find an alternative use for it as a baby sleeping bag.

Today Holly wore her lovely little winter boots for the 1st time that her cousin Amy bought her.
Joshua had another good day at school today as he was presented with yet another certificate for participating in the Year 1 and 2 mixed sports event at Bromfords school the other week. I think I mentioned that he came 1st in the relay and 3rd in the throwing event.

After school tonight the boys both cracked on with this years paper chains. For the first year ever I didn't have to help them at all. I simply opened the pack, set them up on the table and they were off. Brandon managed to alternate his colours in a nice pattern and was continuously counting the number of links he had prepared. Joshua was a little sweetie though as he donated his chain to decorate his little sisters nursery room.

Brandon nicely alternating his colours.

Making excellent progress with no help from Dad or Mum.

Brandon was a little slower than Joshua, but still managed the whole chain on his own.

Brandon's finished chain - his arms only just long enough to hold it up!
After the paper chains Joshua had his weekly Beaver Scouts club which he is really enjoying. Tonight they made a nice festive bookmark which he coloured in beautifully. He was also awarded two new badges for his scout jumper, one for creativity and one for experimentation. Poor Tina hates sewing the badges on and has only just finished his first four badges, now she has another two to crack on with.

After Beavers it was a quick dash of to Tesco's on the Wick as Santa was making a flying visit with his sleigh. Holly was sound asleep as usual so only Joshua and Brandon jumped up on the sleigh with Santa. Both boys made a donation for Essex Air Ambulance and in return Santa gave them both a lolly.

In this picture we manage to get Brandon to force a smile!!!

The sleigh and reindeer were lit up very nicely and looked really impressive.

The booties Amy bought for Holly look lovely. Love the piccies of Holly with her certificate and in her make shift sleeping bag! Well done yet again to Joshua on receiving more awards in the form of the certificate and the badges.
Love the concentration on the boys' faces whilst making their paperchains! xxx
