The Innkeepers Breakfast

Earlier this morning I got to view the final performance of Brandon's first ever Xmas school play. The play was called "The Innkeeper's Breakfast" and Brandon had the lead role as the Inn Keeper. He was a little superstar on the stage and by far had more lines / microphone time than anyone else in the play. He played his part magically and remembered all his lines. His acting skills were put to the test when part of the play he had to be an angry Innkeeper, frustrated with people keep knocking on the door asking if their was space in the Inn. So he storms over to the door stamping his feet angrily on the way. So funny. But by far Brandon's funniest line was when the last group of people knocked on the Inn door and asked if they could see that baby Jesus. At this stage he just responded "Alright, whatever" and had the whole crowd in stitches. A few of the other Mum's from the school came up to us afterwards and commented on just how well Brandon did. What is even more amazing is the courage the children show to get up on stage in front of a big audience like this and perform a play, especially when you consider that they have only been at school for 1 term.

Brandon the Innkeeper sitting down trying to have his breakfast.

Centre stage as he sings with some of the other cast from blue and pink class.

The Innkeeper getting angry as people keep knocking on the door interrupting his breakfast.

The three Kings visit his Inn with his infamous "whatever" comment.
Finally for today I am pleased to confirm that Cousin Amy got to meet her Holly for the first time. Surprisingly Holly was awake for most of her visit which is pretty rare as the little girl does like her sleep. Amy bought little Holly the most beautiful pair of little boots which I will try and get a picture of soon. Anyway I think that all of the close family have now met the latest addition to the family.

Cousin Amy meets baby Holly for the first time. Is this the officially passing of the torch as Amy finally loses her short stack title as their is now a new shorter girl in the family?

Well done Brandon, in your school play! Sounds like you did really well!
Amy was so pleased to finally meet Holly. She is normally very nervous around newborns but coped well with holding her new cousin xxx
