Ladies Shopping

Today my two lovely ladies dragged me out shopping for the first time in ages. Just lately we have relied on home delivery but as I am off on paternity leave we decided to do our food shop the old fashioned way today. So this was little Holly's first shopping trip and her first ride in a shopping trolley. Overall she didn't seem too bothered by the experience as she slept like a baby (excuse the pun) throughout the entire trip. Yet somehow the shopping trolley still seemed to get loaded with about 7 or 8 little pink 0 to 3 month garments of various sorts. Guess I better get used to the girlie's doing loads of clothes shopping together!

All that shopping (and spending my money) seems to have tired the two ladies out.

Tonight we tried on the boys new Xmas jumpers and also Holly's Xmas outfit with the intention of getting a nice picture of the three of them in front of the Xmas tree. Not sure the photo will go down as a great one as Joshua insisted on wearing shorts and Holly insisted on crying!

Did anyone notice the couple of Holly Xmas decorations on our Xmas tree. As with Joshua and Brandon we have bought a bauble commemorating Holly's first Xmas and I also found another bauble with her name on it.

Probably the biggest news of the day has been that Brandon plucked up the courage to bottle feed Holly for the first time. Just how cute is this. It doesn't seem that long ago that we was still bottle feeding Little B and now he is the big boy bottle feeding his little Sis!

Both Holly and Brandon seem very content and happy.

Other than that yesterday Holly had another midwife appointment and all is well. She had her heal prick test which is never nice for the little ones. The midwife still insists that Holly weighed 7lb 10oz at birth and now weighs 7lb 8oz ( so a loss of 2 oz which is fairly normal in the first week). God knows why but they will not accept that she was only 7lb 6oz at birth and has therefore gained 2oz - I have photographic evidence of Holly on the scales weighing 3.47kg which equates to 7lb 6oz! Go figure......
