Santa Delivers an Early Present Under the Tree

Joshua and Brandon are always getting upset that they never get any letters in the post. So this year I prepared both of them a certificate from Santa Clause for good behaviour and explaining that they had been good all year long and are on the good list due to gets lots of presents. I then posted the certificates and when they arrived I left them by the front door. As soon as the boys got in from school I then asked Joshua if he would go out in the hallway and pick up the letters for me. His little eyes lit up with excitement when he read his and Brandon's name on the envelope. Then he realised it was from Santa and got even more excited to find out he was on the good list for this year.

Holly seems to be spending around 22 hours a day sleeping at the moment - she certainly takes after her mother with liking her sleep. So the picture below is a rare shot with her eyes open.

Holly with her eyes open, I am starting to see a resemblance to Joshua now.

Laying on the changing mat ready for a bum change.

That's better, a nice clean nappy.

For me and Tina, Christmas this year will be all about the three kids. Not sure we have even thought about getting each other a present or if we will have the money. But for us Santa delivered us the best Xmas present anyone could ask for with the birth of our little daughter Holly. She is more precious than any material Xmas present we could buy each other, and luckily for us Santa delivered little Holly to us early.

Santa leaves mine and Tina's Xmas present under the tree nearly 1 month early.

Who needs presents when you have a baby Holly under your tree?

She enjoyed looking up at the decorations and the lights on the tree.

Holly and Frosty the snowman.

Such beautiful little eyes.
Tina has now started to express some milk which means that Holly is having the off bottle feed. I had the pleasure of doing the first feed yesterday whilst Tina attended Joshua's Xmas school play. However today Joshua was keen to feed Holly and so after school today we had a bottle prepared for him to try. Apart from complaining his arm was starting to hurt, he thoroughly enjoyed feeding her and looked so grown up doing it.

Joshua a bit apprehensive at first as he gives Holly a bottle feed for the first time.

Tina helps support Holly's head and makes sure Joshua holds the bottle at the correct angle.

Starting to smile as he grown in confidence.

The ghost of Brandon determined to disrupt the feed or my photography!!!!!

Nearly all gone but his arm was starting to hurt so Mum gets to finish the feed,

Holly has taken to the bottle very well and is polishing off a full 70 mils already.

For the rest of today's blog I have a load of random pictures that I have been taking of Holly trying out various settings on the camera for macro shots, sepia, pencil drawings etc.etc. So not much to write here, but some stunning pictures to view.

Holly's little hand clasping my index finger.

Macro close up of Holly's face.

Even closer macro shot, what a lovely little nose.

Her little fingers are still a tad wrinkly and she has a lot of dried skin despite having baby oil rubbed in.

The familiar sight of Holly sleeping.

And sleeping...........

And sleeping in Sepia...........

Very comfortable sleeping on the floor on one of her play mats.

Never wake a sleeping baby, even with multiple camera flashes.

Holly line art.

I bought the little Taz onesie for Holly from one of my recent trips to France.

Baby Looney Tunes Academy.

Pencil print of Joshua looking very concerned bottle feeding Holly.

Then a forced smile for the camera.

Are you sure those letters were delivered to the right house, seeing as you said they were for good behaviour! Only joking boys!
By the way, I have been shopping in many places and am disappointed to say that I have not got a lovely little Holly under my tree yet! xxx
